  • The full name of MVR evaporator is Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporator. Conventional evaporators use fresh steam produced by boilers as the heat source. The solution is heated to its boiling point through a heat exchanger and then further heated to boil and evaporate, generating secondary steam. The moisture in the solution evaporates and separates from the solution as water vapor, leaving the solution itself concentrated. The secondary steam generated during the evaporation process is then condensed into condensate using cooling water. The thermal energy from the secondary steam is transferred to the cooling water and subsequently dissipated into the air, resulting in both thermal energy waste and cooling water consumption.

The MVR evaporator utilizes a compressor to compress the secondary steam generated by the evaporator, increasing its pressure and temperature, which then serves as the heat source for the evaporator, replacing fresh steam. Realize the reuse of heat energy in secondary steam and recycle the heat energy of the evaporator. By providing a small amount of electricity to drive the compressor, the evaporator's thermal energy can be recycled for continuous evaporation without the need for fresh steam.

In thermodynamics, an MVR evaporator can also be understood as an open heat pump. The role of the compressor is not to generate the heat required for evaporation but to transfer the heat from the evaporator to form a thermal cycle. The MVR evaporator is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly high-tech innovation.

The MVR evaporators produced by our company adopt scientific design concepts and high-quality supporting equipment to create stable and reliable MVR evaporator systems, widely used in surface treatment, metal processing, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, PCB, anodizing, electroplating, and other industries.
